Duty Free Americas, Generation 1

ASL has done significant design work for Duty Free Americas. Early work involved implementation of “generation 1” stores into multiple airports. These stores are characterized by light wood cabinetry, colored light bands wrapping the ceilings, and features to relate the store to the city it is in. In Detroit, gears accent the storefront, while a large, tire-like ceiling feature denotes the sales counter. In Washington D.C. a flag-like ceiling guides customers into the store.
